    re the above machine
    i have ssd drive on which i play eve.

    4 gig ram
    ati radeon 6970m 2gig grdr
    cpu is i7 2720
    my framerate at the moment fluctuates at 55/60

    is this good enough to crank graphic settings up to the max on most current games?

    Games like the Witcher 2 and BF3 run best on high settings with that card.

    Max or extreme settings will be unplayable.
