Mine is off to the right a little. Is it fixable or does the screen needs to be replaced entirely? The left side panel is also a little off. If the screen is fixable I'm thinking about unscrewing the whole laptop and mount everything the right way myself.

The plexiglass is mounted onto the LCD screen, it is not remotely easy to DIY.

Replacement or on-site visit is what I recommend.

I was thinking to have a look at hinges, they are screwed to the main chasis with 3 screws, maybe its possible to adjust them a little.

If you're talking about individual parts of the LCD being slightly off, then its going to be a very difficult fix. If you're talking about the lid being slightly off when you close the laptop, that's a quick fix that'll take you 30 minutes tops once you've memorized the disassembly diagram (or if you've taken machines apart in the past).

Essentially you'll be messing with 6 hinge screws that determine the lid alignment when closed.

Yes that is what I mean, the lid is a little to much to the right when closed. You had that same problem?

I had the problem and still have the problem after switching my lid assembly with a replacement Dell had sent me. It is not really hard to do, just take your time. Following the instructions in the manual posted here:

Among other problems, yup. It was an easy fix thankfully. The service manual is available from the manuals section of Dell's website.

If you're talking about how when your lappy lid is closed, and it's misaligned from/with the bottom half of your lappy, then you can take it disassemble and reassemble. Someone posted about that on NBR a while back. You can just follow the instructions from the manual. Prolly difficult and time consuming, but worth a try if you don't want to deal with bad techs.

Both my original and replacement are exactly the same as you have said with it off to the right a bit.
When others say this, I guess I could say it to be expected.

Personally I am not going to worry about mine, until one day I decide to change something else on it at the same time.

I opened already mine from the first day to swap a blu-ray and I had to open it maybe 85%. It took me about an hour to open and fix it back.

It is not difficult to open it: follow the manual and be gentle when you open anything (if for some reason something is stuck or does not open, for sure you left a screw unopened)...
