    Hey all

First of all hello all just got my R3 but seem to have problems with it already  . Most of the drivers were old and out of date and needed updating.
First had the problem with Dell driver not accepting the AMD-s driver saying that the hardware was not supported

Got that fixed ....but now have a problem with the switchable graphics. It just does not work. I press Fn+F7 i get the message that the key compo has been pressed and do i want to activate it. It does nothing also under CCC it says to pick the GPU i want to use but pressing Power save intel GPU .....nothing. It just does not want to use the intels GPU. Any ideas ?

You're meant to have ALL applications closed when you want to switch.

@Op you install stock Dell drivers, confirm switching works and then update drivers by installing them (8.96 28 Feb Catalyst) over the stock ones.

I know this thread is a couple months old, however I am with the same problem. My m17x R3 came with old drivers and my AMD Radeon HD 6870m is not performing well and I am pretty sure it is the driver. However I cannot update the driver due to the switchable graphics software implemented by dell and also because dell will not update their website with the latest graphics. You said you were able to fix this, I was wondering how?
