So I just bought this monitor an when I connected it through hdmi its was pretty blurry.the resolution was set to 1080p so I tried connecting it through vga an its was allot clearer which shouldn't be compared to hdmi. I read that it has something to do with the way the monitor see the hdmi port. Any help on this topic?

    Forgot to mention I have a m17x r3 with a ati 6990

You need to adjust some settings in the AMD CCC, I can't remember which ones but I had the same problem until I changed the pixel sizes or something

holy crap, this worked for me. i thought i had tried everything and figured it must be something simple because video looked awesome, only i.e., chrome, windwos explorer, ect. looked bad and simply renaming the input from hdmi 1 to pc fixed it. thats awesome. +rep
