    I think there was a thread for this but i cant find it now. I downloaded the new audio driver for the M17x R3 and now my sound is being all funky. If anyone can post the link to it, it would be most appreciated. I remember there being some trick to get it to instal correctly. Thanks.

    bump: i really need some answers on this im getting like half sound files being played. And like half instant message sounds and no recycle bin sound. :(

    this is really starting to annoy me does anyone know how to rollback the drivers?

    you can try to do system restore to get the driver back to the previous driver..

    Go to the device manager then when you right click over the soundcard and goto properties there will be a drivers tab and you select that and you can click roll back driver

    none of the sound drivers give me the ability to roll back even though i know i installed the new driver. any other ideas?

    I installed the old driver over the newer one and it worked. So, you can try that if you want.
