    Hi guys,
As title, pretty sure you don't, from memory I didn't run an unlocked BIOS when I was running the same card in my m18x, anyway just want to be 100% sure.

Hi, no you're fine in an R4 - fully supported - it does not care if the card is not a dell or has more memory than the original (2gb).

Now if you really want to have fun with the card then yes, you do want an unlocked bios but it is not required for stock :)

True this, if you need to play around with the BIOS settings you will need an unlocked one.
