I have an unlocked bios on my M17xR4 with a ton of unlocked features. My question is if it is possible for me to set a custom fan table for the CPU and GPU within the parameters of the bios instead if going to another program like HWinfo to do so.

I'm not to keen on really touching any of these settings without knowing what they do or if they will brick my computer

I think I remember something about unlocked settings fan tables working only with unlocked, mx cpus.

I would also like somebody pointing out some unlocked bios tabs instructions coz I cant google them out for the life of me

I had those features available in the M18xR1 and M18xR2 svl7 BIOS and I could never detect any difference in the fan behavior when testing different fan settings on that page. I think on most laptops the fans are controlled by the EC rather than the BIOS.

I changed the throttle temp to the max, 90C and it made a difference. All of the values above actually change for me at least according to what I put. Now thr bottom ones I don't even want to touch because I don't know what they do at all
