I have encountered many issues with my 330W power supply while it is connected to my laptop. No its not damaged its new and No its not my motherboard since the old 150W one always worked. I have AC adapter warnings turned off. I always receive this message"AC adapter unsupported" when I unplug my charger, shut down my laptop, boot up to windows, plug in charger. I was wondering if there is some sort of way to allow my laptop to recognize my laptop without having to unplug it 10 times in order to get it to recognize it via some system file editing/ registry edit?

SOLVED: It was a defective charger!

There is no way to do this as far as I know. All Dell/Alienware laptops recognise the PSU at the BIOS level, so unfortunately any changes at OS level will not have any effect.
