According to some googling, it is a problem with the memory, but I can't see what's wrong. Any other solutions?

Tried running it with 1 of the 2 sticks of ram and swapping them around? (whilst keeping only 1 stick of ram in it)

    Umm...hmm...

The thing is, I don't see any sticks of ram, just the black sticker.

I looked at the videos, and the ram appeared to be in that region just below the leftmost heatsink/pipethings, but there aren't any sticks of ram what

Looks like the ram installed is under the keyboard, I havent actually looked/needed them ones, the manual tells you how to get to them, I suspect either a stick is damaged or faulty or has come loose.

Okay, I took out the DIMM 3 and 4 RAM under the keyboard, took me a while

So could I take these two sticks of ram and put them in the DIMM 1 and 2 slots that are easier to access?
And can I start the laptop without reassembling all of it and just putting the battery back?

Lol, I actually just switched the rams from one socket to another and it worked.

    Thanks a lot!

glad you fixed it. Sounds like it didnt like having ram in 3 and 4 without any in 1 or 2.
