    Hi,

I'm trying to install a 60 hz LCD on my m17x r4 to go along with the 7970m I've picked up, and am wondering if anyone knows the part number that the r4's with the 60hz 1080 monitor shipped with, as it will greatly aid the buying process.

    Thanks!

Are you using intel 4000hd? If not I would go with a 120hz screen.

Thanks very much, for that. Do you happen to have the original manufacturer part numbers as well?

Yup, Dell gives their own P/N to OEM SKUs for LCD's. Part numbers are usually on the screen itself.

I don't think the 120 Hz screen is compatible with a non 3D motherboard (usually 50 pin connector).
