    So,

I've had this 17r4 with a 7970m, and it was working perfectly fine under win10. No crashes no weird stuff.
Decided to sell it to a friend so i had to format. Did a clean win10 install. Tested some games to see if everything worked. And when i play battlefront for instance on ultra settings, the screen will just grey out and I have to hard reset it with the power button. :/ You can see these very thin lines in the grey or black. It depends on what game you were running prior to the crash happening. I don't get it.

I can remember having this issue before (late 2013-2014-ish). And then a certain driver update fixed it. and I always stayed on that driver. Even when upgrading to windows 10 last year or so. But now it's happening again. And I need to fix this in order to sell it.

Anyone else ever heard of this issue? and know a fix for it?
(I will post a picture or a video of it happening, butt it doesn't happen all the time so its hard to recreate)

    You'd help me out greatly!

UPDATE: So i ran some 3Dmark benches and 3 runs everything was fine, I looked away for a second and it happened. The screen just goes into this line state abut i can still hear sound.

UPDATE: I just ran Furmark for about a good 10min and all was good. temps never got above 72 celsius on a 99% load. So itts really random, I'm really convinced its a driver issue now. Seeing as I encountered it just went I went to download Furmark. So normal use, browsing. No Heat what so ever.

I don't have the specific driver version unfortunately. If you plan to sell it, you may want to go 1 by 1 trying to figure out which one works, or you could try searching in the AMD's forums for people with a similar issue.
