    Greetings all,
I recently purchased an M17x R4 and everything was working perfectly. After upgrading to windows 10 however the logo on the screen panel is not lighting up even though it is turned on in alienfx. I have tried re-installing windows 7 thinking it was an OS incompatibility but that did no good. I have already done the basic steps of uninstalling the command center, re-installing windows both 7 and 10. re-starting multiple times etc...

The interesting thing about this is that it does turn on after a cold start for 1-2 seconds right before the bios screen comes up. after that it goes dark and never comes back on.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Probably a hardware failure....there is an FX controller board that may not be working or it could be that particular LCD itself.

Any idea where I could get some documentation about this controller board? or a part number to order a new one?

On these the AlienFx are controlled by the motherboard. There's a logo board and LED that does the change on that part though. That could work. Have you tried running the AlienFXTester.exe located in the command center's installation folder?

Here you go, part number is:
    DC02001B000

PCB and cable is the same part, cable is not removable from the PCB with a little LED.
