Interesting! Seems like the download is delayed/pulled/whatever though, since any attempt to download it gives "Sorry, the requested file could not be downloaded. File not found."

When you try to download the updated BIOS it gives the error message:

Sorry, the requested file could not be downloaded.
    File not found.

It was exactly the same when A09 just came out, it was not possible to download the file for a week or so.

To be honest I just got the RSS notification of its release, I didn't try the download myself. Happens a lot with Dell downloads.

Attempted to try that changing FALSE to TRUE in the URL bar but it didn't work. Checked Dell's FTP too and it doesn't appear on there either yet. Weird, Dell are so weird.

EDIT: Managed to get the download tonight. I've uploaded it to Mediafire.

    M17R4A10WIN.exe

    About to try it now.

Original Dell link seems to be working now.

I just updated mine. Did anyone's fans spin full blast during the process?

Just checked and the American site is still showing A09. Ok to download the A10 and install on my American AW? I know it probably is but wanted to get thoughts prior to jumping in head first :]

Updated: Running windows 8 under UEFI + Fast/Secure boot, no issues seen, maybe post is slightly faster? by milliseconds though, could be just me though.

Note: As soon as you open the application it will start the process, so make sure everything is closed and safe. You will not get a notification from the application, it will start and will not stop, fans will go to maximum when flashing the bios.

Word of warning. Updated my M17x R4 and ran into problems on first reboot after successful flash. System wouldn't find the mSATA drive or windows 8 installation. Had to refresh windows 8 using the EFI USB stick made when installed win 8. Don't know why this happened to be honest.

Fans spinning full blast is normal by the way.

I'd much rather my vbios updates come directly from Dell/Alienware.
