So my 3-year old R4 has been working decently with the occasional hiccup, but just an hour ago when I started it up, it refused to boot. Pairs of 2 beeps every few intervals, which suggested it was a RAM failure of sorts, and google confirmed this. So I removed my only two memory modules, 4GB each, and swapped them out for two separate modules from my backup notebook, where I'm posting from, but I'm still experiencing the same problem.
I'd like to point out that the memory modules themselves are completely fine, since they're working on my backup notebook. I also opened up the chassis and inserted the modules into the slots under the keyboard, but my R4 still won't boot. It's just flat out not detecting the memory. I used it just a couple of hours previously before shutting it down and it was completely normal, but now it won't boot up.
I'm not in the US at the moment which is where I bought this from, I'm in India, so availing tech support or getting parts replaced would be kind of a problem, so I'm hoping that some of you would have opinions? This is my primary work computer and I really need to use it so any help would be appreciated!
TL;DR - R4 won't detect working RAM modules, gives 2 beep error on bootup. Adding new modules and trying different slot combinations isn't helping. Advice appreciated!

(To remove static charge/ no CMOS removal) -Disconnect the AC adapter, remove the battery and hold down the power button for 30 seconds. plug the AC and turn on. --> this solved many issues for me.
OR
-Remove the AC, battery, and the CMOS then hold down the power button for 30 seconds, then insert the CMOS, the AC and turn on.
As a last resort, you could try a blind flash but I'd suggest trying the above and waiting for someone to chime in with other suggestions.
Good luck.
