    Hey guys,

I am currently running a poverty i7 3610qm on my M17xR4 and have been looking to upgrade for awhile. I stumbled across an i7 3940xm for $230. Is this a deal worth pulling the trigger on?

Also, how difficult is the process for installing the new cpu? I know there are many threads out there concerning this but Im just looking for some quick advice/tips.

    Best,
    M

I believe it is a very good deal plus you could sell your old CPU. As for the installing the CPU, you remove the back cover, CPU fan, CPU heatsink and there you have it. Just rotate the CPU lock and remove the CPU. Install your new one and lock it.
