    M17x R4 GPU replacement help

    So today my new gpu came in, and there is a part missing.

    The backplate that holds the screws of the cooling solution down did not come with the new one, and the old one does not seem to be removable. where could i get one of these? thanks in advance for the replies :)

    it is a gtx 870m

    for reference the old card is the 660m the laptop came with

    i intend to :D btw when i got the card, the guy that i got it from mentioned i would need an unlocked bios. is this something i need to worry about, or will it be plug and play (with drivers of course)?

    You could need it because this card has not been tested to work on the Alienware m17x R4.
