    Hey folks,

Bit of an odd one this. I've searched for a solution to no avail!

I'm trying to hook my PS3 up to my M17x R4 (NVidia 660M) via the HDMI Input port. I've got an image and I've got sound, but the image isn't scaled to fit the screen. Instead, the image rolls off the edge of the screen as if it's too big to fit.

    I have tried:

    • Resetting the PS3's display settings by holding the power button down on boot
    • A new HDMI cable
    • Changing the resolution on the PS3 (Tried 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p)
    • Changing the resolution on the laptop (No effect, didn't think it would have but worth a shot!)
    • Updating graphics card drivers (Currently running NVidia 320.18)

    Any ideas, beautiful people?

Do you have the 1600x900 screen maybe?

Probably unable to scale it I guess. Might be able to force higher resolution on screen so it all fits maybe, it could be in your graphics settings too, nvidia and ati have tv output scaling options I think, don't know if it applies for HDMI in though,
