    Hello Everyone,

I have had my M17x for about a month and I have yet to get the Headset port to work as it should.

I plug in my Headset ( Razer Black Shark) which has the same connector as a Headset for you phone (this headset works as a hands free on my iPhone) but it only ever detects the headphones and not the Mic.

Any ideas here? as it would be useful to have them plug straight in to the laptop with out the adapter.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Jamie

Which port did you plug it in? The second from the front?

Please do me a favor. Fire up your Skype and try to call Skype Test Call. See if you can talk fine. It also helps if you have the earphone that came with your iPhone. Plug it in and see if it works. Also try the other ports, too.

Mine works just fine with the Apple In ear and the new earphone that came with iP5. I tested them with the 1st and 2nd port.

Just to tidy this up, turns out in the Creative Labs Software there is a way to change the ports, I had to have it set to iPhone Headset+Mic for it to work.
