I never had a problem with 13.1 but 13.3 kept crash Windows 8 for me. Did you restart in safe mode after installing the driver? I'd try option 5 then restart it again. If it comes up again try option 7. And if that doesn't help I hope you made some back up disc with alienware respawn.

I also had an issue recently with the 13.3 betas in WIndows 8 when I replaced the 900p screen on my M17xR3 with a 1080p screen, I could see boot, but it would go black as soon as I got to Windows. Rolling back to the 12.6 drivers I had resolved the issue. I'll try newer ones later but they dont offer any new features that I require.

I bit more info would be nice instead of your cryptic post ^^

Couple of questions to get this going:
    What did you upgrade from?
Have you done a power drain after upgrading (remove battery and power cord, hold power button for at least 35 seconds to drain all power in the system, then boot up)?
Did you uninstall your previous drivers in safe mode firstly and use driver sweeper to make sure everything is gone?
Does the bios recognize the card you put into it (aka, is it the right vbios for the R4, is it inserted correctly)?
Where /from who did youbuy the card?

I think that you should put in the Windows 8 DVD and start from scratch.
