    Hey everyone,

I just got a systems exchange from Dell (which won't arrive until Monday or Tuesday).

It's replacing the bottom system in my signature for:

    M17x R4
    i7 3720
    675m
    24GB 1600
    3D
    Bluray

My question would be, is the M17x's graphics card seperate? Could I request a 680m to be swapped into my replacement system? I know it's nearly DOUBLE the speed of the 675m.

Also, do you think I got a pretty good trade? Aside from my 555m, I was pretty happy with my XPS 17.

    Thanks in advance!

Edit: Also, I did some searching, but with it being thanksgiving, didn't want to spend a ton of time and figured it would be good to introduce myself to all of you anyway :) Thanks for understaning!

I don't think they'd upgrade to a 680m when already giving you a huge upgrade on the replacement. Can't hurt you ask.

i wasn't really lookin for a straight upgrade. Maybe a downgrade in Ram (since I can buy it cheaper anyway) and maybe a little cash. I guess I was asking, is it a seperate board like in R1/R2/M18x?

Yes. It's a discrete gpu and can be replaced
