I'm sorry, but I tried to search but an error comes up every time saying:

    "Could not find phrase 'invalid_search_query'."

So I had to start another thread asking you guys where I can find my webcam drivers, it's not on the resource CD.

The webcam should use the default Windows 7 drivers. Check and see if it shows up in Device Manager, and then if it is disabled or reporting any problems.

The search function hasn't been working right for some time...but you can use Google to search the forums.

Cyanide, the forum search function is broken due to the size of the NBR database combined with vBulletin 3.x .
Anyway use google to search the forum like this:
    Code:
    site:http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m17x/ keywords go here
You can replace alienware-m17x with any other forum or subforum.
And this to search within a thread using the thread number ( 663571 is the M17x R3/R4 Owner's Lounge):
    Code:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m17x/663571 webcam
    Now on to your question:
You can use the default windows drivers or
    • Go to Welcome to Dell Technical Support
    • Click My Account and Log In (sign in if you haven't already)
    • After that, look for the My Software section and click Download Factory Installed Software (My Dell Downloads)
    • You'll be prompted to read and accept the license.
    • Register your system and you'll be able to download your webcam driver.
