Hello guys ^^, yesterday I got my monster, now I need some clarification. Yesterday I launched the alien autopsy and then clicked upgrade driver, went on the website and found 13 driver for my laptop, i tried to download 3 or 4 drivers but when i start the installation told me that already existed a newer version of the driver, is this normal? how do I figure out which driver I need to update and which not?.

Another thing I can use my dvd win8 pro that I had bought on my old pc to format the laptop? if the answer is yes after installing the operating system how do I install all the programs I've found already 'pre-installed on my laptop? such as alien autopsy, alien command center and all the different screen saver.

if I leave always the power supply attached to the laptop i break it or nothing happens? :p

Thx for answer and as usual sorry for english error :p

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...er-install-order-guide-alienware-systems.html

This thread will contain all of the relevant screen savers for a fresh install, it will also give you a good idea on the driver install order. All of your relevant drivers will be on a separate disk included with your Alienware, normally labelled "Alienware Resource"

The only way you should be looking at driver updates is through Dell's driver page: Product Selection | Dell United Kingdom
If a driver has been released AFTER your purchase date, then go for it. If not, then you already have the latest driver.

Video drivers can be update periodically from the Nvidia/AMD website.

And leaving the AC charger plugged in will not harm your laptop. Good luck!

There will be a Dell Nvidia driver on your resource disk, but you can get newer drivers from Nvidia which will offer significant performances increases.

OS will be on the OS disk, and drivers on the resource disk. :)

Use the OS disk first, once windows is installed, pop the resource disk in and load drivers in correct order.
