Background: M17x R4 675m 3D. Just installed an 840 SSD- I went to install Windows 7 on the blank SSD. I installed all of the chipset drivers and got to the Intel Integrated Graphics driver installation.

Problem: Installing the driver from M17x Resource Disk, the dell official driver download, and the intel website yield the same error- "The computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software." Looking at the BIOS, it says there is no integrated graphics installed. Device manager doesn't show me my 675 or the intel 4000.

I installed BIoS A10...still no dice.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!

3D config has no intel GPU because the intel gpu wont output 120hz hence its disabled in the bios.

Just to add, the 120hz display is connected to a different port on the motherboard to bypass the on-board intel so you can ignore anything related to card switching - a bonus for me, never need battery life :D

If only dell had sourced a dual frequency panel all this could have been avoided
