    Lets make a M17x photo thread !     I would like to see how you set up your baby :cool:

    Color comparison (R2 first)


    I can see pretty easily from the images that the RGB screen is more vibrant and has higher dynamic range (look at the borders between colors, and the depth of the red - blue )

    In these 2 pictures, you can see that the RGB (the first one) has more range in blue than the R3's ( the light blue looks much more better). Look at the difference between the deep blue of the "Alienware" on top of the screen vs the light blue at the middle

    For this pic, look at the green color of the trees and the grass. There's clearly a difference.

    Its not true white in the R2. However, it seems like the glow on the R3 is TRUE WHITE (as I saw from Mandrake's photos).

    MBP 2007-2008 and m17x R2Nebula Red are the only 2 laptops that I kept looking at - lol

    haha, I used to play CSS and had incredibly low sensitivity, would take me several swipes of that mousepad just to do a 180 =P

    I've a zalman NC2000, you can see it on the right of the 2nd pic, great cooler.

    Heh, Steelseries QCK Heavy! Love that mousepad, I have one too its great.

    Also am I the only one that thinks the m17x black with "white" (pink..ish?) looks good?

    I think the tint makes it look extremely clean and modern.. I hate "warm" whites.

    Exactly. When Playing CS I always set mouse sensitivity very low... Usually 2.0-2.5 ...swiping with the magnum sniper rifle :D i called that pro, lol.

    seems to me that the keyboard does not have a good place to sit...

    I actually had the same MBPro (I prefer that design to the new unibody one) but its stolen while I was in Vegas :( thats why i ended up with m17x

    and what's that creepy white monitor on the very right ? :D

    Haha its an old school G5 iMac I scrapped together, I am thinking about selling it and getting a screen and a TV for my movie watching habits instead lol.

    I also prefer the old design, but the new design is a lot more durable. I had a girl leave her MBP 13" on top of a car... and yeah drove away. The thing still started with some damage to the bottom case!

    As for the keyboard, if I am playing a FPS I don't need the laptop or G5, so I sit a bit closer, which makes you a bit dizzy sometimes cause your surrounded by screens lol
