My M17x has xfire 4870's. I would like to try out 3D gaming on my new 3D projector. Would it be possible to run IZ3D or comparable software and be able to play games in 3D?

Has anyone tried 3D gaming on an M17x?

Yup! On both R1 and R2.

Since R1 has nVidia cards you can use 3D Vision Discover.

On R2 you need 3rd-party software.

Problem is there seems no way to get 120Hz 3D on mobile cards and that's reason it sucks.
