Has anyone who has gotten there hands on m17x found video drivers that work on the SLI cards? Ive tried a bunch with no luck.
-
-
you have yours already?
-
I actually just figured out the video card issue, but now i have a device called Coprocessor with no drivers installed, not sure what it is. -
dude, 3dmark06 benchmark NOW!!
please -
-
just got my m17x also. Did you install Win 7 RC? Did you have to do anything special to get sli to work???
-
also, how much did you OC your qx9300? I am going to do this tonight
-
Vandit, can we get a pre-OCing benchmark?
-
-
Did it come with the win 7 update coupon thing then or was this an 'alternative' copy of 7?
-
Alas. -
Lets answer some of these questions.
I'm running the Windows 7 RC. everything seems to be working fine just dont know what this coprocessor listed in device manager is.
To get SLI to work you need to install the Nvidia Chipset Drivers. All the drivers on the Dell CD work for Windows 7.
Right now im overclocked to 3.06ghz gonna monitor the heat maybe go alittle higher. -
wow congrats to all of you that got yours today. I wish i would have had the money to go with qx9300 to start out with... oh well.. something to do around christmas i suppose
-
.
But if not I'm probably going with 2x GTX260M (well the GTX280M looks a little overpriced for me) and a QX9300 from ebay
.
-
thanks -
-
-
ok. I see where u can change the FSB now. Did u bump up the fsb or raise the multiplier or both? My ram is 1066, so can I go higher than 266 and run stable?
-
FSB settings to OMG ...i should of went X9100
thanks guys -
still no 3dmark !!!!
-
3dmark is old and useless now, we need a vantage run
-
Fsb Settings On Bios?!?!??!
T H A N K S G O D -
yeah. At least with my qx, you can adjust fsb and Multipliers. I am running Prime stable for 10 minutes just bumping the Mult from 9.5 to 11.5 at stock fsb.
-
not sure why ppl are surprised? -
what are the max clocks?
sleey0 usually they dont have FSB settings -
Ohhh, didn't catch that the first time.....
WOOPS!
Well, now you know why dell added the 1333 memory option! -
-
edit: vandit, what are you posting here for - shouldn't you be linking pics? lol -
yes you can.... you more then likly will not hit a wall with that ram unless its crappy
-
. I can assure that will be 0% difference in overclocking
-
-
well, I am currently running PRIME95 stable on ALL 4 cores 20 minutes now stable without error! All I did was bump mult from 9.5 --> 11.5
-
lets see a 3dm06 and vantage score
-
I'll load 3dmark here in a sec for you axman
-
im interested in what this can do, it should be able to hit 20k with 06 @ 3.2ghz. and vantage should be around 10k.
-
with the MAX OC
-
-
that would be good too, im sure the bios is done right on this compared to them17/ocz. Armia needs to work on getting the power right on the whitebook.
-
I'll run it on my 3.06 overclock. I don't feel like messing around with it further right now.
-
I on the other hand feel adventurous, and will provide everyone with high OCing benchmarks, since lots of people here are assuring me that it will not mess up my machine lol, bios overclocking though lol.
-
No benchmarks yet!
C'mon guys get to work..lol -
I think there to excited to even know where to begin
cant blame them in the least . Couple days from now this place will be plastered with benchmarks .
-
-
Did you try the have disk method?
-
-
I've heard of solutions like that... so it may be exactly what's going on. -
That makes sense.
-
Sorry, not to be that guy. I don't want to read the 5 pages...Any problems with installing windows 7. Looks like driver issues with graphic cards? Thats...not favorable.
-
you ARE that guy
and no, not really any problems. 5 pages isn't much, you should check the owners lounge, I think they're up past 500... THAT I'm not reading.
there's the usual video card driver hoopala though. I think most of us are used to it. -
Camon people some 3dmk 06 and vantage P mode benchmarks with the cpu maxed OC and Vga'ss with oc wold be really nice to see... PLEASEEEE
