    It will also hit in apps like Window Media Player if the codec being used supports acceleration. Had two crashes with the new Nvidia driver inside WMP.

    For what it's worth - WD verified that my HDD needs a replacement, so I called Dell and I should get a new one within 2-3 days hopefully. I'll let you know how that works :eek:

    Happen to me again, and i am totally sure this was about the Google Talk Plug-in for Firefox, i tried to do some calls and i succeed but, i got 3 freezes and had to shut-down the laptop by force it. . . Gotta uninstall it and try without the Plugin (Pure software)

    Started happening to me rather often, I uninstalled the "Security Updates" I installed yestorday and that fixed the issue.
