    M17x and blackberry storm no good....any one with a storm and m17x??

    To shorten things out, has anyone with a blackberry storm 9530 and a m17x had any problems when connecting the phone to the laptop????




    I'm trying to connect my blackberry storm 9530 with my m17x and when i connect it the blackberry enters in white screen and reboots. First of all is not the blackberry, i already tried with 4 storms and still the same issue. Now i tried with my desktop pc and it works fine. Therefore the root of the issue is my m17x .... i even tried in safe mode and got the same outcome. I did some research online and seems that that is a common issue with bad usb ports on computers :(
    That explains the constant problems with my logitech g930 headset.......

    Any one else with a blackberry storm 1 9530 has the same issues???

    I had a curve 8520 and a bold 9700 but never had any connectivity problems..

    I also got a bb 8530 and works fine on my m17x. The damn storm is whats not working. And like i said i already tried with 5 different storms(i sell phones :)) But the storms works fine on my old desktop computer p4.

    blaster, are you using the USB cable that was included with the storm? If not, try it.

    just a google search reveals many reports of connection issues with the storm. one mentioned using the original usb cable which came with it and this met with postitive results (why I mentioned it). In any case, looks like you have a lot of poking around to do. lots of hits on "blackberry storm 9530 usb problem". :(

    Hope it works out. If I find anything, I'll pass it your way.
