    Hello guys

I've noticed recently that if I shut the system down it doesn't turn off as it did before, now it turns off but the alienhead power button and the alienhead logo are still on and behaving like the system is hibernated, they also change color if the battery is not fully charged. This wasn't so before

Have any of you guys experienced such kind of things?

    Thank you in advance,

    Cheers

Maybe you are putting it to sleep/hybrid sleep. Make sure it says shutdown on the button :) FYI: the shudown button on w7 defaults to sleep not actual shutdown; you need to go over the right arrow besides the shutdown button, and select shutdown for a real shutdown.

    Thank you for your reply,

when I turn it off, I always do the complete shut down, as usual, and always did that in this way :)
I got this strange thing from yesterday..

Possibly silly question, but is the battery charging?

This can happen if it's charging or if you removed our battery in both cases it just while using it be sure that it fully charges and it'll stop

Do the reset by removing the battery, a/c, and holding the power button.
My laptop will occasionally do this until I do the reset. It will also flash the light like it is on battery even though it is charged and the power icon says plugged in/charging.

Yes, if it is not fully charged, it seems to be charging and the alienheads are changing colour

but this didn't happen before, and thelights are flashing not changing colour when the battery is fully charged

I did nothing :) all drivers, vBIOS and BIOS are Dell\AW official and the latest

I did this, also to be sure I've reset CMOS ;) and this thing magically disappeared :)
Regarding flashing lights like it is charging while fully charged and on AC, this sometimes happens, perhaps it will disappear after reset, we'll see

Thank you guys for your replies very much!

    Cheers :)
