I'm considering purchasing an m17x but I'll be using it on an hdtv pretty often.
Is it possible to close the laptop and still be able to use it with a wireless keyboard and a mouse without the whole thing going into standby mode?

    Thanks!

In power options, there is an option choose what closing the lid does.

Just set it to "Do nothing" and it should be fine.
