    M17x light problem

    Ok, I am admittedly computer stupid so I am hoping to find some help here. I have an M17x (I think it's an x) that I bought back in 2008. It is still working well except that tonight my pet rat walked over the keyboard and somehow turned off the small lights for the touch buttons above the number pad as well as the ones above the keyboard on the left side. How do I turn these back on?? The rest of the lights are all fine. Thanks in advance!!
