    M17x r1 heatsink

    Were do i get the left heatsink/fan my m17x has the dust guard and i am gonna put another card in were do i get it at i cant find one is it just the fan i need or what?

    You can call alienware parts department. They usually have good prices on spare parts.

    The GPU heatsinks and fans for the M17x and M17x R2 are the same so there you go, double the chance to find what you need.

    Best to try and get a heatsink designed for the card too so you don't have to mess around with thermal pads.

    The heatsinks from the M17x are all the same for all cards, nothing like the MSI ones per example.

    I know the metal is certainly the same, but the organisation of the heatpads is a bit different IIRC.
