    M17x r2 will not power up

    hi guys i flashed my m17x r2 with the a10 bios and the computer will boot with just the battery in but it will not charge at all and when i remove the battery and insert the power cable it will not boot. the problem is my battery is now flat, is there anything i can do ????

    Probably flashing your bios went wrong, I suggest trying to reflash the bios.

    yes i have ordered an external battery charger so i can get onto it, when the bios post screen comes on it says error with the power cable attached so i assume its a bad flash, hopefully i will be able to fix it does anyone have any rock solid bios files cheers.

    You can try to reflash to Bios A10

    thanks when the charger arrives i will give it a go, just one question when it says to flash bios using winflash it says run on external power but it will not let me will this effect the flash at all.

    Sorry your right, just fixed the link as the only available BIOS for the R2 is A10 right now.
