^^ That's 2 posts today that I've read with the law on our side. What the heck is going on here with dell?

Hi, I have the same problem as you. The Alienware R3 are new and fresh install. It has the Nvidia GTX460 too.
This is the debugging output:

looking forward I found a solution typing the !IRP command at the DUMP tool with the Arg4: fffffa8007200860, The blocked IRP

This is the answer

So I think is the Nvidia Driver. I will try to find a solution.
PD Is possible to use verde drivers instead the dell one? -
Thank you for the confirmation I kinda was thinking it was the nivida driver. the problem is it uses a modded driver(stupid dell) so using normal drivers from nivida does no good(wont recognize card.) I copied the orginal .inf from the orginal drivers and am using them on 6676 version drivers which are still giving me the problem. I know its in the inf file but unsure how to custom write one. Every place that offered a custom inf that would work for an alienware system removed them(i am guessing at nivida or alienwares request) so IDK.. and ROD I already tried verde drivers they will not work(same issue as using nivida drivers). Somebody needs to rewrite the inf file and post it for people like us. Dell refuses to do anything. I reinstalled my whole OS from scratch and am still getting this issue. Problem is it takes alot of time to write the inf so it works. Im guessing we might all be screwed until dell decides to write updated driver for this POS. I spent 1800 dollars on a computer with power for school and server hosting and I get this crap that BSOD randomly. and dell refuses to do anything about it. Personally im tempted to tell them either fix it or give me a free upgrade to the ati dual cards with a 1080p monitor for the trouble.

a few things to note for users... One= I called dell and shoved my foot up dells @$$ it appears they have released an updated driver for nivida 267.64 that they SAY will fix the BSOD issue. two= for anybody having issues with dell TS and customer service they are morons but i have never had any problems getting my way as I am a computer engineer who actually does his research and has a general idea i am doing. Point? dell is like any company and will take advantage of ppl they think do not know any better. You should not have to pay for their mistake. I called them and started citing the Debug code, mentioned I work "in the biz" and told them exactly what their problem was and the guy was ready to mail me an upgrade ati 6970 card to replace my nivida until he found out about the updated drivers. have a backbone and do your research before calling them and you should be able to get your way. Sucks you have to do such legwork but welcome to consumerism...(updated bios, raid, and integrated intel video drivers are there too. go to dell drivers.
