Just recently bought seagate 240gb 600 series to replace my old drive. However am having some issues. Most of the time it would just freeze and will not get pass the alienware logo. I have to power off several times before it will boot on my OS. Tried it on both ahci and raid and still the same problem. Tried also to use both A08 and a12 bios and the problem still persists. I have the drive installed in port 0. Have not tried on port 1. I have my old hard drive on port 1 as storage.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I really dont want to deal with the hassle of return and exchange. Sigh

My bad i should have stick with crucial ssds... But i got this seagte for $100 and thought i got a steal...lol
