Hi! I just received my laptop with 2x 750gb, it was set up in raid 0 when it arrived.
I do not want raid, I just want one for system and one for storage. I have already used Ctrl I and make both hard drive non raid.

So in the bios, do I need to change raid to other option, or just leave it alone.

When I use USB 16gb sandisk cruzer blade to create system recovery media, it took a long time to complete.

And it also took almost 2 hour to complete recovery for the laptop. After system recovered, something known as emergency folder backup started. Any idea what is that?

But I hear someone saying they took only 20 mins to restore windows. Am I doing something wrong. I only make change to dvd drive to e: and data drive to d: . Will this create conflict in the system?

Just now I tried to use dvd to create another set of system recovery media, it took about 40mins for 3 disc, is that normal?

    Thank you.
