I want to ask how is the quality of the stock screen (1600x800) such as viewing angel, contrast, color for the r3 ?

I know majority of the members upgraded their screen but i personally prefer less pixel for performance n bigger icon/text.

    Thank you for your feedback

I have the 900p screen and its not bad. Im not an expert on screens or anything but it shows my games and movies well. I haven't seen the 1080p version yet so i can't compare them... yet :p

I didn't upgrade the screen and I have no issues at all. Good quality easy to read.

I took the 900 p screen and it´s great. Can´t really compare to the 1080p screen but the viewing angles is fantastic. Colors? Way better than my LG 22inch desktop screen from the late 2007. 6870m runs fantastic at very high setting with all games except for Crysis 1 and Metro 2033 along with the 900p screen. Very overclockable too.

1080p is very bright. Icons and desktop space by default are small and very roomy by default. I made my icons bigger (to match the size that a 900p screen would give me) and there's still too much space for me to use. The taskbar is big though, which is nice for me.

All in all, I'm very satisfied and feel spoiled like old milk :)

I think the 1080p screen is excellent. As good if not better than the radiance display on my Envy 14.

^^This guy knows what he's talking about, cuz the Radiance is one of the top screens as regarded by members on NBR.

    !?!?!?!?

I own an E14 with Radiance. It's similar to the RGB of the R2 I had. Based on specifications alone, the WLED of the R3 does NOT compare whatsoever to the RGB.

Are you saying the R3's screen looks that good, that you think it's comparable to the E14 Radiance?

I haven't received my system yet, but I'm extremely skeptical of this claim.

Probably depends what kinda backgrounds/videos/games you use on the screen to compare....maybe he just got blown away by the AW wallpapers.
