    Just got a gift from my friend an m17x r3
    And I want to put a clevo 970m 6gb in it.
    Does anyone have the modded bios for it?

    From what I'm led to believe, the 880M is the highest Nvidia card that can be used in the R3. I would suggest the 780M though. The 970M used to only be marginally stronger than the 780M but this gap has widened due to driver support.
    An AMD 8970M (R9 M290x) may also be a good option due to continued driver support.
