    It is possible to get m18x screen to m17x r3, i mean are hinges compatible?

    Well i need 1080p display, but on ebay is for 250 $ and M18x screen is for 100 $

    Don't think it's gonna work. You will need the m17x one.
    If there was a way, probably the modifications to the chassis would end up costing more than the 1080p m17x LCD.

    I think technically it's no problem, it's just the inches that don't fit for starters :)

    If you want to go down this kind of mods road, i'd much rather fit an M17x-R2 RGB LED in an R3 :)
