    Hi everyone

Am wondering what are the specifications of the blue ray player that can fit in the M17x r4?

For someone to upgrade his old DVD to a Blueray.

I didn't find a thread dedicated here for this subject, especially now when Blueray players are getting cheaper.

The issue is with the size and compatibility of the player.

    Any good brands? Deals?

The part number for the BD compatible with this machine is FJ8W4. Try looking for that one online.

Can't tell for sure, but the picture looks like that's a tray loading drive? The M17x is slot loading (which I love!)

I reaaaaaaally want Blu Ray in mine, though I'm not sure I want to deal with pulling the whole thing apart to install it...wish it was simpler to get at, though at least Dell has instructions.
