I searched the forums and couldn't find any answers. I have the m17x r4 with the 2230. I took the card out and put in a killer 1103. Does the laptop have built in bluetooth or do I need to buy a dongle?

There is a connector on the motherboard for a bluetooth module. its under the palm rest. Ebay has the part you need (search m17xr4 bluetooth) its about $40.

That seems like a great deal to me, the Killer does not have an embedded bluetooth module like the 2230 does so you need to add a bluetooth adapter separately.

Its a Dell 380 Bluetooth module if you want to go with what it would come with out of the factory.
