    Hello,

From last Friday i have similar problem like many other alienware users.
So i googled for any solution to solve it. But i didn't change anything.

After power up laptop i got blackscreen (only keyboard flash on)
I decided to do following thinks:

-I tried FN + B with Bios from Dell website on pendrive
-I tried plugout AC/battery and run with holding END (flashing Bios and Recovery Bios in SATA/USB 3.0 port as well)
    -I tried restart CMOS battery

This operations doesn't help fix my blackscreen.
Yesterday i decided to take out GPU, after this system found graphic card on motherboard. Thats fine, i can enter normally windows so i sure LCD and rest stuff is ok. I also tried put back GPU and try if this help with something, no effects ..

Next my step was update bios, from A02 to A05 - still the same problem.

Have u guys any solutions what should i do ?

GPU is Nvidia GeForce GTX 660m
I can enter Bios when i using integrated card on motherboard
i cant do anything when i using GPU card.

    Thanks

Does the notebook beep or does the SCROLL/CAPS/NUM led's flash when you start up with the GPU installed?

What I meant is after all the LED's flash once (they're supposed to on startup), do they flash again? Look at this LED Table. If the LED's flash a certain way, the machine is telling you there if a problem.

The LED's all must be on to signal an error. Hmm, no LED error code, no Beep error code. You might want to get in touch with Alienware and describe the problem to them. They will most likely send out a tech to replace the Nvidia card. That may or may not fix the problem. It sounds like the problem with the current card is the GPU died or the VBIOS have been corrupted.

Flashing the VBIOS would only be possible if the laptop will boot with the Nvidia card installed. You said your laptop screen will not work with the Nvidia card installed, yes? You've gotta be able to see what your doing. PM one of the Alienware Reps in the forum here. They've helped me before with warranty service and replacement. This is one of the reps that helped me: http://forum.notebookreview.com/member.php?u=508900
