Hi everyone, I did a fresh install on my laptop and noticed after installing the 280m drivers included on my Alienware Resource disc. That my gpu was listed as 260m in the computer details.
Has anyone run into this problem before?

    Many thanks!

Strange isn't it? This was installed with the Windows Vista 64 disc the laptop came with. I thought I'd use this since i found it cleaning a room.

My previous install was with an uncertified and it recognized my 280s. I don't get it?

That's really weird. Can you please send me your service tag in a private message?
I would like to escalate the issue really quick.
