This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     M17x video question

    I have a m17x and have loaded a dell win 7 home OS (not alienware) so I downloaded the drivers,apps etc. loaded them in the order dell said.but one of the issues I get.is about direct X, when I go into device drivers, It shows under display as standard VGA graphics adapter.
    and under Other devices:
    Base system device
    Base system device
    Coprocessor
    I downloaded Dell driver for the AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4870 and also went to amd's driver site and downloaded there driver for it.
    But neither shows the other graphics card just the on-board one.I'm guessing the AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4870 is the extra non on board one.
