    M17x with 4800x2 cant upgrade past stock drivers

    Ok so i have a strange problem. Any drivers i try to install above the ones you find at support.dell.com start to install correctly but then once its done with the "install manager" portion of the install the SDK install starts and finishes immediately. It then says it finished but when i restart or look around i find that nothing was installed but the ATI install manager. This happens on versions higher then stock dell ones. Ive tried 10.10, 11.2-11.7 i still get this. Im not sure if i need to use device manager to install the driver portion then install CCC later but CCC didnt even seem to be in the install options. Either that or it just never gets this far.

    If anyone has familiarity with this problem i could use some help because these out dated drivers are costing me stability in the games i play and i really want to get some new drivers on here.

    I have pretty identical system and running on 11.7 just fine.
