Hi, I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate from Vista and I was left with no FX. After I installed all of the necessary drivers I installed the Command Center but it was not even giving me the FX option. I have now installed many different versions of the Command Center and have started getting an error in the Command Center saying the FX drivers can not be found. Is this fixable? Or do i have to revert to Vista to keep FX.

    That's your problem right there!
NEVER install a older version of Command Center than your current one.
When installing Command Center, the AlienFX controller's firmware is flashed.

You might want to try a full power drain and see if you get any luck :/

-remove your power cord and system battery
-take off the back cover that gives acces to your HDDs, RAM etc.(held by the two screws hidden by the battery)
-near the system fan you have the CMOS coincell battery, unplug it
-flip over your laptop and keep the power button pressed for ~30 seconds to clear CMOS
-plug everything back together and see if it works now.

Open Command center, create a theme(if allowed) and save.
You may also try to uninstall your current Command Center and clean your registry with CCleaner in Safe Mode then install the latest Command Center Version from HERE.

If you get it to work, remember NEVER INSTALL A OLDER VERSION (like the one from your recovery DVD) always the above one.

Okay, I completed all of the steps. The command center installed with no errors until I ran the program (as admin). Before it opened I got an unhandled .NET error. Then when the Command Center opened the FX section was empty. I have the 4.0 .NET framework installed so I do now know where the problem would be.
