    Hi,

I'm having some annoying problems with windows 8 professional - legal version from MSDN.
Everything works fine untill I install the NVIDIA drivers (2x 280M's). I used 306.97 drivers from the nvidia site. I modified nvac.inf myself to allow the driver to install (in no certificate mode). That worked, but then the wifi wouldn't work anymore. I have the Dell 1510 wlan card (broadcom).

When I reboot I can connect to 2.4Ghz networks, but as soon as I try to connect to the 5Ghz network it fails to connect and removes ability to connect to anything. If I plug in the ethernet it somehow "recovers" the ability to find wireless networks again and I can connect to everything. I then removed the ethernet and upon disconnecting the 5Ghz network, it forgets that network (doesnt show up anymore). Same problem: can't connect to any network and then shows no available networks again.
    Video drivers work fine though.

I have tried dozens of drivers and nothing works. help?

You may have already got this fixed. But this is a common issue on all NVIDIA drivers for this model.
From device manager, change the "Device sleep on disconnect" to disabled and it should immediately start working.
