    A few NBR members has asked me for some wallpapers to test the RGB LED screen. Here are some pictures to test out the RGB LED screen. I have also included some of the pictures the NBR members posted. Enjoy

    Have you tried the one sample picture that comes with Windows 7 (and Vista I believe) that is a scene from Utah? I swear on the RGB screen it almost looks like you are there. The shadows really standout and is almost a 3D look.

    Wow... all I can say is... WOW... I am glad you mentioned checking these, and you are 100% correct, it almost tricks the brain into thinking you are there, at least visually ;)

    I cannot imagine going back to the older screens now... games, video and well, everything looks so much better!

    I was gonna go crazy looking for very high resolution wallpapers of white tigers after seeing something on the Discovery Channel. You won't have much luck finding them not blurry or the right size. I'm very picky. Anyway, here are 2. I am using the first one. The second one I modified because it was too small on the sides.

    Put some white color on your keyboard and it looks great. The whites are really bright on this screen.

    not white tiger, but I have some pictures I took of some regular tigers in full 3880x2000 or what ever my D70 resolution is.

    Since you guys like that design so much I made some variations of it so you can pick one that suits your preference best.

    You can even use them all and have Windows 7 do the auto wallpaper change.

    Most of them are simple hue adjustments to change the color, but there are a few color meshes I did that required hands on stuff.

    I could do a lot more with this design but left it untouched for now :D

    Did you download them or get it off my picasa page?

    If you downloaded it they should be full quality as a lvl 10 .jpg file.

    Picasa does downgrade and resize images though I only did that so you can preview them before downloading it.

    sharebee is annoying it has popups like crazy, but its effective. It uploads to all the other share sites for you. So you can pick megaupload, raphidshare, zshare, etc...

    i did download them. But i have noticed that your files are around 300-400kb, while the original "red" wallpaper that was posted here is around 850.. not sure this has anything to do with it though

    edit : you can see it more clearly in the smoke (it's kind of pixelated) around the face in the green and yellow versions.

    Still, awesome job!! RESPECT

    Yeah it could be a lower quality, .jpg is lossy every time you save some quality is lost.

    I use lvl 10 as a standard but lvl 12 is max quality so the quality can be higher.

    It includes those awesome alienhead wallpapers that hanselen created and ViciousXUSMC modified and a modified logon and logoff sounds (from transformers) taken from this thread..

    Did you actually design it or just take two sources and merge them? (alien head stock & smoke stock)

    I know a few ways to photoshop smoke effects and I could make my own version very quickly if your upset in any way that I modified your design.

    Is there a way I change the Boot up screen. Frist I see the cool alienware head. Then I got the Lame Blue from a Dell Windows Ultima cd. Due to the fact they lost mine.
