Well ive called support a few times and I seem to just get the run around.. I have an awesome warranty left on my machine and i haven't had any problems up until about a month ago..

now this is what is happening..

Massive distortion from speakers if streaming anything thing from the internet. If I'm playing a video and get on the internet, it distorts out the sound and the computer starts stalling. (Seems like the video card isnt compatible with the wireless card and the speakers.)

Will not install microsoft updates, I even updated bios to version A10 released 1/19/2011

If you tab out of a game like MW3. And get back in, it A. Either gives you a black screen for 5 min. or B. Will let you in but kicks you from your current match.

Ive been told repasting my cpu and video card will void my warranty (per alienware support) now after reading this forum and seeing reps here saying it wouldn't void the warranty ive re-pasted every thing and it didn't help..
Ive tried formatting and re installing and nothing.. doesn't help.. i spent thousands on this machine when i got it and made sure i bought they very best warranty i could and to get the run around I got from Alienware is very sickening to me to think that when after all this time I have a problem im treated like this..

well thanks for listening and by the way im new!

Not all games like you alt-tabbing, have you tried it on other machines? Also yes, try and get the latest drivers from the manufacturers websites rather than dell.

Hello nyx, welcome to the forums!

It could be software issues, have you tried a Clean Windows 7 installation? You need to delete all partitions, then create a new one before installing the OS.

And which driver are you running?

Have you updated the vBIOS? AMD Mobility Radeon HD5870 vBIOS(You need to have Dell's video driver installed before flashing the vBIOS)

You could also run a PSA and see if it detects any hardware error.
