Hey All, Need some help cause I dont really know what its the problem.

    first problem:
When i move my laptop i get a blue screen with error 0x7, not hard movement, just normal movement like from one table to another. So I Imagine it was the sensor in the hard drive so I unistall the free fall sensor driver and the problem dissapear.

    Second problem:
When my pc suspend or hibernate it doesnt post the error leds are 1 flashing 2 fixed. so i need to do a hard reset, also when in hiber and after the hard reset it boot to windows login screen and instantly go to sleep mode in where i cant wake her.

    Third problem:
My laptop doesnt want to charge the battery, I need to do a hard reset and leave it off and pluged so it charges.

What i think: I think the suspend and hibernate issue is not related to windows, cause i cant get hibernation to work on linux neither. I think the problem could be between the charger, the processor or the hard drives.

    Steps I took already:
Make sure everything is conected inside. no overcloaking,
try with dell driver versions, also all the whl drives and betas for the video sound, touchpad and Intel Rapid Storage Technology.
    Eveything is update ,
disable non criticall services and app.
problem with bios a01 and a02.

Hey I appreaciate taking your time and reading this to help me.
    BTW sorry for my Enlgish.

yep, first problem - disable the free fall sensor, a lot of ppl here get that problem.
Second and third problem might be solved with the famous power drain :
    turn off
    remove battery
press the power button for 20 seconds
    put back the battery
    turn on
check if problems are gone :)

Hey Thanks for the reply, The first problem its fixed with that solution, but the other 2 remains, the power drain (hard reset) doesnt fix it.

could you explain it a little bit better :
what are error leds ? could you possible make a video so it'll be easier to help you out ?

Problem three? did you maybe by accident pressed Fn+F2 ? (battery disable/enable)

sorry for the delay of my answer, I got this new job from 9 to 6 and its killing me, The error leds are better known as diagnostic lights or error codes.
    If "0" = Flashing & "1" = Stable
    my diadgnostic lights shows
    0 1 1

And about the Fn+F2 I tried several times, and that isnt the problem.

Ill try to record a video, but Ill need to wait for this weakend 'cause of this job.

    And Thanks BTW.

I believe that if you inadvertently are in Stealth Mode, the battery will not charge (have had that happen to me often). Also, look for a thread by Wattos. He has a script that he wrote to make it easy to know if you are in SM or not. If nothing else, worth a look.

Hey thanks a lot, about the battery I will try to see if its because of the stealth mode cause I'm always in stealth mode to save energy. but i'll be happy to know if thats the reason.

and about the blinking the fouth is the one that describes it best:
The microcontroller is handing control of the system to the processor. This code persists if no processor is detected.

Hey just posting back to help others who have the issue about charging.
Well the thing is that its true. when the m17x-r2 is on stealth mode it may not charge. in some cases it could but not always. so if you want your laptop to charge normally leave stealth mode off and after enable it.

DELL is also replacing my charger and I'll recieve another one on monday to see if the problem with suspend could be related to that.

I had that issue with the charging happend to my R1. Turn the computer off, remove the battery(leave it out),*DO THE POWER DRAIN*, plug the AC adapter in, & turn the computer on. Let it boot/load Windows..... when your at your desktop do a normal shutdown. When it is completely off, replace the battery while leaving the adapter plugged in & then turn your computer back on again. It SHOULD now be working correctly....not sure if it will work, but it did for mine & well worth taking a stab at it.
